     Each year in the town of Aurora, the Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Fossil Festival - fun and games, rides, entertainment for the young and old, clowns, parades, lots of foods and crafts, educational exhibits and yes, many, many fossils.

                               Friday, May 23rd:

     Pre-historic sharks' teeth are one of the favorite finds here in the area.   Visit the Aurora Fossil Museum to learn more about the "free" fun you and your family can enjoy all year long!  Create your own personal collections of fossils (sharks' teeth, shells, bones, etc.) all dating back millions of years ago!!
